Following up on the press release issued on December 29 2003, and with regard to the current events involving Parmalat, Centrale del Latte di Torino & C. S.p.A. confirms its interest in the future sale of any Italian based companies or industrial assets involved in fresh milk production which belong to the Parmalat Group.

Meanwhile, contacts have been established with the Advisors in charge, in order to evaluate the possibility of submitting a formal letter of interest with a view to strengthening its role and inter-regional company vocation.
